[Intern - Uni] Engineer

We are seeking a self-driven and technically capable engineering student from a recognized university to join our Engineering Department. This internship offers the opportunity to work on advanced engineering tasks, from creating complex technical drawings to supporting process optimization and new product introduction. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD skills, be able to interpret detailed engineering drawings with GD&T, and contribute actively to problem-solving, documentation, continuous improvement, and automation-related projects.
Education LevelCurrently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university

Experience LevelNo prior experience required but must be familiar with CAD software (i.e. ZW3D (preferred), SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and having prior internship or project experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an advantage

SkillsProficiency in CAD software (i.e. ZW3D (preferred), SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering drawing standards
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and Design For Manufacturing (DFM) principle
Familiarity with automation systems and robotic processes is an advantage
Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to conduct root cause analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Office for technical documentation and WI preparation
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
